Measurement-Induced State transitions in Inductively-Shunted Transmons
Researchers investigated Measurement-Induced State Transitions (MIST) in inductively-shunted transmons (ISTs) to stabilize qubit readout by removing dependence on offset charge. Experimental results confirmed MIST stability, showing better performance than standard transmons. The work validates a modified semiclassical model for ISTs and suggests that quantum modeling is necessary for qubits with unbounded potentials.
