FlowBudget: Training-Free Sampling-Budget Estimation for Flow Matching Models
FLOWBUDGET is a training-free method to estimate how many numerical steps are needed to sample from flow matching models. It uses simulation-free interpolation probes of the learned dynamics to calculate a budget based on local error properties, avoiding expensive FID sweeps. This allows researchers to determine sufficient numerical resolution without generating multiple samples at different budgets.
