Certifying Hidden Paths: Scalable Topology Assurance for QKD Networks

Large-scale Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) networks need assurance for communication paths involving trusted repeaters, but operators won't share their network maps. This work introduces a topology certification mechanism that allows a provider to prove policy-compliant routes exist between two points without revealing the actual routes or the full network structure. It achieves this by signing nodes and edges independently.
