Measuring radial flows in disc galaxies
The authors developed a new method using 3DBarolo software to simultaneously fit disc geometry and radial velocity profiles in disc galaxies. This approach overcomes previous issues where warps complicated measurements of radial flows by fitting them together, leading to more accurate and less biased quantification of gas accretion.
