FARSim: a fast RF-chain-aware trigger-screening surrogate for radio detection of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays

FARSim is a fast surrogate framework designed to rapidly screen radio detection triggers for ultra-high-energy cosmic rays without running expensive full simulations for every configuration. It reconstructs ground plane radio footprints from a reduced library using physical principles like geomagnetic and charge-excess decomposition, allowing researchers to quickly evaluate different array layouts and trigger settings.
