Near-deterministic loading of molecular arrays by microwave-assisted collisions

The research proposes schemes for near-deterministic loading of molecular tweezer arrays using microwave-assisted collisions (MWACs) and efficient ejection to overcome collisional loss. By engineering repulsive van der Waals interactions between molecules in different states, the system suppresses uncontrolled collisions. Controlled energy release via MWACs allows for deterministic single-molecule ejection through various strategies like thermal or push-beam ejection, achieving high filling fractions up to 96%.
