Optimal Demand Response-Based Energy Management for Campus Buildings with Battery Energy Storage Systems: A Case Study of the ELB Building
The framework optimizes energy use in a campus building by scheduling demand response and battery storage based on electricity prices and building needs. The study found that coordinating these two systems significantly reduces electricity costs, showing that combining demand response with battery storage yields much greater savings than using either system alone.
