On a Keller-Segel type equation to model Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells growth's patterns
The study introduces a modified Keller-Segel (KS) type partial differential equation to model patterns seen during brain microvascular endothelial cell growth. By analyzing this mathematical model, researchers discovered how changes in parameters like $\gamma$ lead to the emergence of network-like spatial structures matching experimental observations. A data-driven approach was also developed to reconstruct the temporal evolution of chemoattractant concentrations.
