Ground state phase diagram and superconductivity of the doped Hubbard model on six-leg square cylinders
The study investigates how electron hopping ($t_0$) and doping ($\delta$) affect the ground state of a doped Hubbard model on six-leg square cylinders using DMRG. It reveals distinct phases: d-wave superconductivity when $t_0$ is positive, an insulating charge density wave (CDW) phase, and a novel holon Wigner crystal (WC*) under specific negative $t_0$ conditions. This highlights the strong sensitivity of the system's behavior to these parameters.
