Topological Leading Angular Structure around Bound States in the Continuum

This work develops a theory linking the angular structure of radiation near Bound States in the Continuum (BICs) to their underlying topology. It shows that this radiation directly encodes topological information, allowing for the prediction of topological charge transitions and how new BIC families emerge when structural parameters change. This method offers a direct way to probe complex topological properties without needing extensive resonance calculations.
