Stripe order enhanced superconductivity in the Hubbard model

The study used density matrix renormalization group simulations of a modulated Hubbard model to test if stripe order enhances superconductivity. The results show that even small modulations in hopping terms can boost long-distance superconducting correlations by many orders of magnitude, leading to a phase with quasi-long-range SC and a spin gap.
