Easy-IIL: Reducing Human Operational Burden in Interactive Imitation Learning via an Assistant Expert
Easy-IIL reduces human effort in Interactive Imitation Learning by using an existing model-based imitation method as an assistant expert to handle most data collection. The human expert only needs to provide one initial demonstration and intervenes only when the task is about to fail. This approach maintains performance comparable to standard methods while significantly lowering the human's workload.
