Emergent-Coupling-Based Ansatz Evaluated on a Superconducting Quantum Processor

The Emergent-Coupling-Based Ansatz (ECBA) is a variational method designed to find accurate quantum states for disordered systems. By analyzing dominant effective couplings, ECBA creates shallow circuits that capture essential long-range entanglement better than standard hardware-efficient ansätze. Experimental results on superconducting qubits show ECBA achieves significantly higher accuracy across various disorder levels compared to simpler approaches.
