Two Birds One Stone: Effective Static Detection of Resource and Communication Deadlocks in Rust Programs
RcChecker is a new static detection method for Rust programs that simultaneously finds both resource and communication deadlocks. It uses a signal-lock graph to map how threads interact via locks and condition variables. This unified approach improves upon existing tools by catching more errors, including previously missed communication deadlocks.
