Edgewise Envelopes Between Balanced Forman and Ollivier-Ricci Curvature
Evaluating Ollivier-Ricci curvature is too slow for large graphs because it requires solving complex optimization problems for every edge. This work derives explicit, simple transfer rules between transport-based OR curvature and combinatorial Balanced Forman (BF) curvature. These rules allow researchers to bound one curvature using the other, drastically reducing computation time from global solvers to a fast local calculation.
