Unconditional full vector magnetometry using spin selectivity in Nitrogen Vacancy centers in diamond
This work proposes an unconditional vector magnetometry method for diamond's nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers. By using elliptically polarized microwave fields to select specific spin states, researchers can determine both the magnitude and direction of external magnetic fields without needing prior knowledge or bias fields. This overcomes limitations in previous methods that required external field information.
