Evolutionary stability and payoff equivalence in an Eisert-Wilkens-Lewenstein quantum game

The study examines a symmetric quantum game where entanglement can stabilize an interior mixed Nash equilibrium into an evolutionarily stable strategy (ESS) within a restricted two-parameter space. However, this stabilization fails when expanding the strategy space to include all possible pure SU(2) strategies, showing that the effect of entanglement is highly dependent on the chosen mathematical framework.
