Synchronization in a dissipative quantum many-body system

The study investigated synchronization in an XX qubit chain under local or multi-local amplitude-damping noise by analyzing its decoherence-free subspace (DFS). Generic stable synchronization and constant asymptotic entanglement between edge qubits occur if and only if the DFS contains exactly one single-excitation eigenstate, which happens when the greatest common divisor of noise sites and chain length is 2.
