Absorbing state transitions with long-range annihilation
The authors introduced a model of diffusing particles undergoing branching and long-range annihilation with a parity constraint. They discovered a continuous line of universality classes between directed percolation (DP) and parity-conserving (PC) transitions, showing that these two seemingly discrete classes interpolate smoothly based on the long-range annihilation exponent $\kappa$. This enriches the understanding of critical phenomena in non-equilibrium systems.
