Entanglement entropy and magic of ZX-diagrams
The authors developed scalable methods to estimate quantum entanglement and magic directly from ZX-diagrams without expensive tensor contractions. They introduced a normal form that separates the graph state backbone from non-Clifford Pauli gadgets, allowing for additive upper and lower bounds on bipartite entanglement entropy and logarithmic stabilizer extent, which are shown to be informative even in large circuits.
