Transport in multilayer graphene: resistance from stacking faults

This work develops a theoretical framework to calculate c-axis resistance in graphene stacks with any stacking arrangement. It shows that transport measurements on mesoscopic pillars reveal signatures of stacking faults and probe localization physics. Specifically, it predicts that disorder leads to insulating behavior because the median resistance grows exponentially with stack size.
