Balancing bias, baryons, and scale cuts in LSST 3x2pt analysis

This study uses LSST data to test how nonlinear galaxy bias and baryonic feedback affect cosmological constraints. By comparing simple linear models with more complex Hybrid Effective Field Theory (HEFT) and including baryonic effects via the BACCO emulator, the authors found that using more complex bias models improves results on smaller scales, suggesting a scale cut up to k=0.7 h/Mpc is beneficial.
