EvoPS: Evolutionary Patch Selection for Whole Slide Image Analysis in Computational Pathology
EvoPS is a framework that uses an evolutionary search to select an optimal subset of tissue patches from whole slide images. It balances minimizing patch count with maximizing diagnostic accuracy by creating a Pareto front of trade-off solutions, leading to more efficient and interpretable Whole Slide Image (WSI) representations.
