Dinosaur Photonic Crystal Cavity Interfaces for Color Center Coupling to Triangular Nanostructures

Researchers introduced corrugated triangular 'Dinosaur' photonic crystal cavities and a tapered interface to efficiently couple embedded color centers with flying photonic qubits for quantum applications. The design uses angled etching, offers better fabrication than other methods, and allows precise tuning of the light-matter interaction by adjusting cavity parameters.
