Pair density wave in doped three-band Hubbard model on two-leg square cylinders

This study used a three-band Hubbard model on two-leg square cylinders to investigate if it supports a Pair Density Wave (PDW) state in cuprates. The results show that light doping leads to a PDW ground state where superconducting, charge density wave, and spin density wave correlations are all mutually commensurate and power-law ordered. Notably, near-neighbor attraction enhances superconductivity while suppressing charge order.
