On the Limits of Quantum Multiparty Simultaneous Communication
The study compares classical public randomness and unentangled quantum communication in a multiparty setting called Simultaneous Message Passing (SMP). The paper proves that public randomness provides an exponential advantage over quantum communication for solving coordination problems like Index Coordination. This means classical shared randomness is significantly more powerful than unentangled quantum resources for this type of distributed task.
