EarLog: Opportunistic Ear Physiology Sensing toward Personalized Hearing Risk Awareness
EarLog turns playback into an opportunistic probe to record involuntary acoustic reflex events during everyday listening. It uses content-conditioned residual sensing to filter noise and identifies weak acoustic reflex signals through loudness changes and spectral irregularities. This allows for personalized, real-time monitoring of hearing risk during normal use.
