Test-Time Trajectory Optimization for Autonomous Driving
TOAD is a test-time procedure that uses search to optimize trajectories based on a frozen scorer, without any training cost. It improves six base planners by searching for better paths that maximize the scorer's reward while maintaining driving comfort and safety. This method finds new, superior trajectories rather than just re-ranking existing ones.
