JevForest: Path Voting for Budgeted Feature Acquisition
JevForest introduces a method for selecting features when you have a limited budget. It combines feature suggestions from many different decision trees, weights these suggestions by how much information they provide globally, and uses a shared classifier to make the final prediction. The research shows that weighting these path proposals by global gain improves accuracy with larger budgets.
