Sequential Retrieval in Dense Associative Memory: Asymptotic Dynamics and Storage Capacity

The study explores a dense associative memory model where sequential retrieval is achieved by shifting one pattern index during parallel updates. Using generating functional analysis, the authors derive exact dynamical equations, showing that this method accurately reproduces Amari–Maginu theory without approximations. They also establish how storage capacity scales with the interaction order.
