Slot3R: Set-Associative Spatial Memory for Streaming 3D Reconstruction
Slot3R introduces a training-free, set-associative spatial memory system for streaming 3D reconstruction. It solves Point3R's issue where nearby pointers might encode different surfaces by decoupling location from state identity. Slot3R organizes observations by 3D location into buckets, allowing multiple distinct states to coexist at the same address while using a sparse readout to manage memory access costs effectively.
