Large Isolated Stripes on Short 18-leg t - J Cylinders

This study investigates long, isolated stripes in high-temperature superconductors using Density-Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) on short 18-leg cylinders of the t-t'-J model. It reveals two distinct regimes for stripe formation: a high-filling regime described by a simplified squeezed-space model and a low-filling regime defined by individual dopant pairs, suggesting that the physics of a single stripe dictates its microscopic structure.
