EarthScape: A Multimodal Benchmark for Geologic Mapping and Surface-Aware Learning under Geographic Domain Shift
EarthScape is an AI-ready dataset integrating aerial imagery, DEMs, and multi-scale terrain features for geologic mapping. Experiments show that terrain features are the most reliable signal, outperforming raw spectral or elevation data. The dataset is designed to test multimodal fusion and domain adaptation across geographically distinct regions.
