Thermodynamic Signatures of Phase Separation in Mass Imbalanced Fermi Mixtures: Superfluid Density of States and Quasiparticle Specific Heat in the 163Dy 40K Atomic Mixture
This study investigates normal-superfluid phase separation in ultracold Fermi gases using a 163Dy40K mixture. It shows that increasing interaction strength and imbalance chemical potential reduces the energy gap, leading to a decrease in quasiparticle specific heat. The behavior of this heat capacity is sensitive to the mass ratio, revealing how mass asymmetry influences the spatial structure of paired and normal regions.
