Spin-dependent electron transfer through a ring-wire coupled junction: Role of in-plane electric field

This study investigates spin-dependent electron transport in a non-magnetic wire coupled to an antiferromagnetic ring using a tight-binding model. It finds that an in-plane electric field acts as an efficient tuning parameter, driving spin polarization nearly to 100% at low bias. The field is also the sole source of symmetry breaking in double-coupled configurations, confirming these hybrid structures are controllable for spintronics.
