Finite-temperature properties of extended Nagaoka ferromagnetism
This study investigates extended Nagaoka ferromagnetism using numerical methods on a model with main frame and particle bath sites. It finds that specific heat peaks reveal competition between Mott antiferromagnetic and itinerant ferromagnetic states across different energy scales. This competition is driven by the motion of itinerant electrons, suggesting local FM correlations originate from electron movement rather than just localized interactions.
