From Permutation Symmetry to Communication Bounds and Additivity

The work investigates how full permutation invariance limits quantum communication rates by analyzing correlations across channel uses. It shows that for fixed channels, optimizing information per use converges to a single-use maximum, though finite-block superadditivity can still exist with vanishing excess. This symmetry constraint also provides strong converse bounds for entanglement generation codes.
