Benchmarking dynamical-structure-factor protocols in programmable neutral-atom geometries

This study tested a method for measuring excitation spectra, called the dynamical structure factor (DSF), using neutral-atom quantum simulators. Researchers applied this protocol to 1D and 2D Ising-like spin systems, including dimerized chains. The findings show that this approach is practical for probing material dynamics in regimes where classical simulations are too difficult.
