Mean-field phase diagrams of spinor bosons in an optical cavity

This study maps out possible ground states for spinor bosons in an optical lattice coupled to a cavity using mean-field theory. It finds magnetic phases like antiferromagnetic Mott insulators and ferromagnetic density waves, plus supersolid phases, by analyzing how spin and density imbalances are tuned via cavity interactions. This provides guidance for experimental setups.
