Physical reduced states and continuum characters of the lattice Kramers-Wannier defect

The study investigates how global topological symmetries, specifically non-invertible fusion algebras from Kramers–Wannier defects in the Ising chain, constrain physical reduced density matrices (RDMs). It develops an exact microscopic construction for these states and determines continuum characters by linking global algebraic data to local entanglement structure.
