A Fully Analog Implementation of Model Predictive Control with Application to Buck Converters
The research proposes a novel method to create fully analog electronic circuits that run Model Predictive Control (MPC) policies for systems described by simple mathematical models. By combining several complexity reduction techniques, they designed a low-latency circuit for DC-DC Buck converters. The resulting controller effectively rejects line and load disturbances, showing superior performance compared to standard methods.
