VAPOLA - A multiyear, multiband polarization survey of AGNs and Sgr A* at millimeter wavelengths with ALMA II. Spectropolarimetric properties and their evolution from 2017 to 2023
This study analyzed spectropolarimetric properties of 39 AGNs and Sgr A* using ALMA from 2017 to 2023. It found that while total intensity is stable, polarization features like LP, EVPA, and RM vary strongly on day-to-day timescales. The frequency dependence of RM suggests a magnetized sheath around the jet, offering constraints on jet geometry.
