Interplay between photon condensation and electron-electron interactions in molecular systems
The study examines how electron-electron repulsion affects photon condensation in a molecular system coupled to a cavity mode. While transitions are typically second-order except at half-filling or single electron cases, strong electron interaction can cause the transition to become first-order. Polaritonic excitation energies serve as spectroscopic tools to distinguish between these different types of phase transitions.
