Dark Matter Particle Explorer: Ten-Year On-Orbit Performance and Scientific Outcomes

The Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) mission provided a decade of on-orbit data measuring all-electron spectra, proton/nucleus spectra, and searching for high-energy gamma-ray lines. Results show spectral breaks in cosmic rays around 0.9 TeV and a hardening structure in boron ratios at 200 GeV/n, suggesting changes in particle propagation physics. These findings improve models for cosmic ray acceleration and offer constraints on dark matter properties.
