Real-time Chatbot Romance Scam Detection in Stage Classification
A chatbot was developed to detect romance scams in real-time using Line Messaging API and a large language model (GPT-4o). It analyzes user messages against seven social science stages of romance scams to classify the scam. The system then provides detailed explanations of the detected stage and specific prevention advice tailored to reduce risk.
