Researchers analyzed six cryptocurrencies to find cryptographic key reuse across different designs (UTXO and account-based). They discovered over 1.6 million keys are reused, with a significant portion actively used in multiple systems. This highlights a major security and privacy risk stemming from shared underlying cryptographic primitives.
