Dyonic black holes supporting nearly-black self-gravitating thin shells

The research investigates dyonic black holes in a specific non-linear electromagnetic theory to see if they can support self-gravitating thin shells that are nearly black holes and in static equilibrium. The study found that this requires a specific limiting condition on the metric function, and the resulting critical radii for these shells are universal, meaning they don't depend on the central black hole's mass.
