SAFE: Spatially-Aware Feedback Enhancement for Fault-Tolerant Trust Management in Event-Based VANETs
SAFE improves trust management in VANETs by solving erroneous feedback caused by changing event statuses. It ensures honest nodes are protected and increases network reliability by having vehicles continue recording data as long as they are in the witness area and sending updated reports before leaving. This method prevents unfair penalization of honest vehicles.
