Testing Algebraic Complete Intersections
This research develops a method to test if data points are concentrated near a specific geometric shape called a real algebraic complete intersection. The procedure either proves that no such shape exists or finds one, providing an explicit learning rule. It establishes rigorous bounds on the amount of data needed and the computational effort required to perform this test.
