RiCo: Neural Simulation of Rigid-Body Interactions via Local Contact Reasoning

RiCo is a neural simulator that models rigid-body interactions using sparse local contact reasoning. It predicts object motion by first identifying nearby contacts, creating interaction descriptors, and then using a point Transformer to process these local cues. This method achieves high accuracy in predicting position and orientation errors while efficiently capturing fine-grained contact geometry.
